3 Star, Superior Tourist Class Traditional Hotel
This historic building is situated in the main shopping and commercial area of the city, close to the famous Liceo Theatre and the Gothic quarter. The nearest metro station is Liceo.
All rooms are spacious but basic decorated providing all facilities of a 3 star hotel. The restaurant is open only for breakfast and it is probably the most beautiful part of the hotel. Tables are placed around an inner circle adorned by captivating chandeliers. Exterior light is let in by a marvellous sky-light.
The building is traditional, charming and beautiful facade, small balconies overlooking the popular Las Ramblas. The 2 first floors are framed within tall arches and in between them are beautiful, coloured carved figures.
The lobby is medium in size with traditional furniture and decor. Few columns support a wonderfully adorned ceiling.
One of the oldest hotels in town and at the moment under renovations till the end of 2006, although some rooms have already been finished. The structural maintenance has been carefully planned and will not affect guest rooms or common areas such restaurant. The only disturbance is occasional noise between hours 8.00 am-17.00 pm when a drilling work is necessary.
