Oasis hotel is conveniently situated in the centre, within walking distance from the main sites of Barcelona: Port Vell and the beach, Maremagnum, Picasso Museum, Gothic Quarter/Ramblas and Born area.
Rooms sizes are small with plain furniture design but well maintained. Rooms and bathrooms are fairly clean. All rooms are fully equipped with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, TV and direct telephone line.
Breakfast room has been newly refurbished and is situated on the ground floor offering a cold buffet. There is also a restaurant open to the public providing a wide variety of snacks, tapas and a daily menu presenting typical Spanish dishes.
The hotel has traditional building dating from 1850 well maintained. The lobby is just renovated, with wider space. Reception has been modernised and it's located in the middle. Some parts of the flooring offers views of the ancient soil and pottery found.
Very good standard for a officially 2 star hotel, well preserved with ongoing refurbishing for future renovated rooms. Family-run business hotel with friendly service. Excellent location and laidback ambient are its higher points. Preferably for low budget individuals travelers.
